Our Philosophy...

Gateway Health Services (GHS) is a PT owned and operated comprehensive therapy organization.  GHS was founded by Brian J. Gallagher, and his wife Lisa, both Physical Therapists.  Brian and Lisa believed very strongly that the quality of care received by the patient, and their families, is the most important aspect of their professions.  They wanted this message to be clear to the organization’s long time top executives, Lauren Carbo, CEO and Lou Powers, President, with the anticipation that they would take ownership of the business.   It was his intent that he turn the company over to executives who had been working along side him.  Gateway’s Owners, Lauren and Lou, are dedicated to carry out the original mission of providing high quality care and service to all of their valued patients.  Their mission to provide high quality care and services to everyone that walks through our doors has helped to build the reputation that our community has come to know us by. 

Now, in 2007, Gateway Health Services continues to have a successful staffing division along with the well-established outpatient clinics Cypress Creek Therapy Associates and Enhanced Physical Therapy.  In addition we have added an exclusive contract division where we are now operating rehab departments in long-term care facilities and out patient clinics in chiropractic offices.  Gateway is also working with practice owners across the country to offer consulting services.  Our mission in the consulting division is to provide operating support that will allow other groups to improve the viability of their business.  We are proud of our growth and diversity and have achieved these results through a commitment to building employee teams through training, administrative organization, and our continued focus on providing quality rehabilitation services.

Lauren and Lou believe that the future and security of their organization lie in the hands of their employees. Gateway is an always-expanding company and this expansion would not be possible without a focus on teamwork and accountability.  It is Gateway's goal to continue to work within these core values for the agencies we service, and for all the therapists that are part of our team.
